The staff was great and the room was nice. The biggest issue was the elevator. There was only one working elevator and it took forever to get up and down. Parking is pretty much nonexistent, but everything else was great. There is a resort fee that we didnt know about until we got there.

One of the elevators was down our entire week stay, which when other people lack etiquette, can be frustrating. But otherwise the staff were attentive and kind, from the valet to the bartenders to the front desk. We enjoyed being off the main strip with a decent view of the mountains and being an easy walk to everything. We used Kūhiō Food Hall a lot for a variety of meals and drinks for my partner and I. The theme/layout of the hotel is very midcentury modern/vintage vibes and we enjoyed a peaceful stay, even as kamaaina.

Property was great value and conveniently located, however one of the lifts was out of order during our stay. This meant there was only one lift for the whole property and you had to wait a while for it to arrive before squeezing in. Would stay at the property again though as we really enjoyed our stay overall.

I had the perfect stay at Wayfinder Waikiki! If you are on the fence about whether you should book this hotel… DO IT! The staff is excellent and very helpful. The rooms are clean and aesthetically pleasing. The poolside lounge and bar area is super relaxing for days where you just need to lounge around. Super convenient walk to the beach and restaurants. I definitely recommend.

This was absolutely phenomenal. We stayed at the Sheraton the night before for $700 and preferred this room. Obviously it’s not a 5 star property but it really seems like it, the free snacks and wine, all the gorgeous wood in the elevators rooms and property, nice pool fun bartenders….. good valet.. literally no complaints. Highly recommend. Only downside is no view of the beach but after being on the beach all week we didn’t mind the city and canal view
