Easy check-in & lovely lobby/bar area. We had room 677 Oceanfront & it had a beautiful view but the rooms are very tired. The fridge door was broken & the AC filter looked like it had never been cleaned & was too loud to leave running at night. The rooms would need to be renovated before we would stay again, they are not worth the price as they are. We were very disappointed that the pool closes at sunset, so we didn’t get to use it as we were sightseeing during the day.

The evening check-in Women was very helpful. We did not know we had free breakfast and purchased ours and charged it to our room. Maybe you could comp that for us. The grounds and view were the best. The waitress and bartender did a really good job. Thank you for the free Mai Tai’s. We would definatly come back and recommend the Royal Kona Resort to our family and friends.

There is no hot water at the Kona Royal Resort! They should have said that upon check in because I traveled allay and really wanted a shower! This has ruined my stay at the Royal Kona!

The room was a little dirty, and you only get 2 free water bottles per stay. The room we were in was pretty loud. So much noise i think we were next to the kitchen, ironic as we paid extra to avoid the noise from the building going through renovations haha overall it was a beautiful resort, the food was tasty, walkable area.
