Been coming for 30 years. Know good people who still work there. Amenities- little things like complimentary coffee in morning - either diminished or reduced to -0-. Now $7/cup for a fairly poor brew. Someone rang our bell at 7am to find out if we were still in the room (!) - check out is at noon knucklehead! Why not check with the front desk? Rather dismal extremely overpriced room service menu for one grand a night.. When it was Mandarin owned it was great. Been about two owners since with, we suppose, MBA’s wringing out an ever better bottom line. Sad.

The property is absolutely beautiful. Waited a long time to get our room then to find out the room they were giving us was not the correct one. That was quickly changed and our new room was beautiful. Everyone was super friendly and dinners were excellent.

This is a great hotel. But it was very sad to see the dolphins in a tiny pool. Spending their whole lives swimming in circles and posing for photos with tourists. Inhumane and unnecessary.

This is a lovely hotel with excellent service. Staff is warm and gracious. The grounds are beautifully maintained. Restaurants are very good. I understand that the rooms are undergoing an upgrade. In line with this, I have to comment on the poor condition of the wicker furniture in our room and in the main lobby.
