Exceeded expectations

I don’t usually stay at Super 8s but tried this one while picking up my son from Michigan Tech. It has a very nice location and exceeded my expectations. Very nice.

We have stayed at this particular hotel many times as my daughter is a student at MTU. Up till this visit I've never had anything negative to say, but this time the bathroom was not clean. Hair is the drain of the bathtub. Hairs around the toilet and baseboards. I went to the front desk and the gentleman apologized profusely. However, there was no one from housekeeping available to come and address the issue. I appreciated the apology but will consider other options before booking here again.
