Fairfield was good. It was quiet, clean, and the breakfast was good. Rooms were adequately sized and convenient. Beds were a little hard. You should be OK staying here.

I had trouble checking in. The woman working the front desk had computer problems. The monitor seemed to freeze up on her and was flashing, which she said she'd never seen happen before. Because of this, she said she wasn't able to issue us keys to our room and that she would have to walk us up to our room and use her master key to let us in until she could fix the computer. Then, about 10 min. later, she called our hotel room and said she fixed the computer and had our keys ready for us. While maybe this was all a legit issue, I now wonder. We've stayed in many, many hotels as a family over the years and this has never happened to us before and, incidentally, the following morning, fraudulent activity took place on my debit card, I can't help but think the so-called "computer issues" the hotel had the night before when I tried to check in had something to do with sudden fraudulent activity on my debit card, which I used as a deposit for incidentals. It's all a little too suspicious. d

Hotel with a view

Breakfast had so many healthy options. Loved the whole wheat English muffins. The oatmeal was perfect and there were so many great options for topping it. It was great to be able to make the small little waffles instead of one big one. Great idea. The use of paper plates and bowls was a great choice instead of Styrofoam. Room was very clean and comfortable. We liked that we had a laundry room two doors down from us. However, the market did not stock any laundry detergent. We picked some up at the store. Outdoor area was very nice and great view.

Staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean and comfy. The 3rd floor on the odd numbered side of the hall has the best views of the trees and mountains . Beautiful veranda to sit and watch the birds. The gym was stacked with weights, mats, even a block for raised lunges! Nice view while you work out too! The breakfast was suuuuper yummy with lots of options !

Not much bad to say about this hotel, mostly. If it isn't brand new, it must have been recently remodeled. It is in very goos shape. All fixtures, finishes, etc look good. Breakfast was good. Front desk staff was friendly. Would have given them a 5/5 if our a/c worked in the room (set in low 60's, never fell below 71) and the beds were even remotely comfortable. King bed was bad and sofa bed was too.
