Parking was not an issue. Room's were spacious and clean and beds comfortable. There was minimal towels in bathroom and the TV kept freezing up for a second or two at times. The pool towels, when available were very small. The handle on the pool stairs was very wobbly, and pool needs renovating. Otherwise, great location with walking distance to shopping and great food! Had a great relaxing time, will stay again!

Great location. Comfy beds. Good for the one night we were there. Wouldn’t have wanted to spend more than one night. Bathroom smelled like pot, very noisy, listened to doors being opened and closed all night and most were creaky. Bathroom towels were stained and floor was dirty. …..They don’t monitor the parking lot, so when we came back later at night there was literally ONE spot, lots of people parking and walking down town. It’s a great location , walking distance to downtown. Just very noisy and not clean. Trash cans outside full and over flowing. Overall just dirty and run down. When I told them the bathroom smelled like pot they just looked at me like ‘okay’…..

I picked this property due to location. Little did I know that I would be transported back to the early 80's when it comes to room decor. The walls were white with zero decoration allowing you to see how poorly the room was painted and maintained. The AC blows cold and was so loud it would drown out any noise from nearby rooms or the parking lot. Outdoor lighting was bright, which is great for security but, created beams of light that were difficult to block even with the privacy curtains. What annoyed me the most was the lack of working vending machines, outside security doors had keypads and scanners but were unlocked all the time AND, the hotel charged me additional fees due to booking with a third party (Expedia).

Great place and cheap price compared to the other Hotels around the area. It kind gave me like older building vibe but it was in downtown. I stayed for 1 night with my partner we had no issues, the room was clean and the jacuzzi was working which workout great.

The hotel was fine. It was definitely a bit outdated and felt like a motel almost. However, the rooms for spacious and the location was excellent. It was even a 20 minute walk to the ferry, which was excellent. When we got there, the window on our ground floor room was broken, so they were able to change us to another room where the window Shut and locked.

The property is a little aged but the room was clean, quiet and had air conditioning. Bed was comfortable. There is a microwave in the lobby. Great for a lower priced experience with kids.

I got this hotel because the price and location were great for my short trip. At the time I wasn’t aware they were in the middle of remodeling.. but that didn’t have an impact on my stay. It is a little outdated but for the price and location it’s no problem. You do pay a “resort fee” which makes no sense. Staff was friendly.

Credit Card Attempt Charges before check-in

We had a recent unpleasant experience at the Hyannis Plaza Hotel in Cape Cod. My husband and I booked through Hotels.com a 4-night stay and used our credit card XX opting to pay in full at check-in. Upon arrival on 7/6/25, at 3:53 PM, I asked to change the payment method to card YY instead. The front desk staff acted annoyed, and charged the full amount to card YY + sec. deposit. On 7/7, I received a fraud alert email about unauthorized charges on card XX. On 7/8, 9AM, I went and met with Mgr Ms. Ruchi and expressed concerns about an attempted of full amount on credit card XX. She explained that the hotel charges for one night before check-in as part of their cancellation policy, and repeatedly stated that it was Experian’s Group policy. I stated that I’d gather more information and seek clarification. My credit card company confirmed a full + 2 other small amounts being attempted to card XX on 7/6, several hrs before my check-in, all made by the Hyannis Plaza Hotel. On 7/9, I met with Ms. Ruchi and Mr. Mark, where they insisted that all the charges were made per Experidian’s Group pre-charge policy. Ms. Ruchi then walked away and asked Mr. Mark to handle the checkout on the spot, stating they’d refund me for the last night of my stay and asked me to leave the hotel. This experience left my husband and me feeling frustrated and embarrassed, something we have never encountered after years booking with Hotels.com and 20 + years of visiting Cape Cod.

Excellent location. Restaurants and shopping on Main, convenient store next door, and 5 min. from the beach. The room was very spacious. More space than we even needed. Once they get the front restaurant up and going and get microwaves in the rooms, the place will go from good to excellent. But I'm sure it won't be as affordable when that happens.
