The relatively high scores on here is baffling, the Yelp reviews are much more accurate and predictive of what you’ll probably experience. The signal connection for the TV in the room had to be rebooted by a staff member every time we turned it on; after a while we just gave up on watching it, the handyman said the issue is that the TVs are new but the infrastructure for the signal connectors is old and obsolete. The ice machine on the floor was broken, so plenty of trips either up or down a floor. This is turn was made more inconvenient by the overload of traffic on the 2 elevators available, you’ll find yourself waiting massive amounts of time to catch one, especially during busy hours. The doors use an automatic dead bolt engagement system that results in most doors not being fully closed when you think they are. Walking down the hall at night I could see all the doors mistakenly left open, pretty damn dangerous. No fridge or minibar or microwave in the room, worst still, no coffee machine, which leads them to brag about the fact that you have the privilege of purchasing $10 lattes downstairs at their on-the-premises Starbucks. Oh wow, what a treat! The hotel restaurant Aqua has some nice people working there, but it feels like something run by summer interns, bar was left untended for long stretches at a time, some of the food was good, some of it was stunningly burnt. Quality control overall seems to be the main issue of the property. You can do much better.
