When we arrived we noticed a nasty smell in the hall way, but it didn't linger in the room. We figured out where the smell was coming from when the toilet backed up. Staff was great, but ewww!

Good thing I was on the first floor cause the elevator was broken. The room next-door had a barking dog nonstop. The bed looked like somebody slept in it, and they just laid the blanket back. The toilet would hardly flush. I had to keep putting water in the trashcan to flush the toilet out even urine.

Heating - thermostat did not work. It either was on always or we had to shut off completely. This made the room to hot and very dry air. Also when we went to desk, there usually was no one there.

Mold smell coming from under the fridge. Reall pretty rundown for a La Quinta. On this trip we stayed at 2 others and this was the worst. All the breakfast food that should have been hot, was cold.
