The mattress and bed platform was a horrible combination-it squeaked loudly with every move, and the mattress was completely worn out to the point springs poked me in the back and side. One young man front staff member was very helpful, and the other, a young lady was clueless. We extended two days and confirmed the the same with a young man who got us assigned to the same room. The morning of the last day the lady at the front desk told my wife the room key wouldn’t work because some else was staying in the room today. The front desk lady was also provided our name twice, and assured we had the room, but she couldn’t be bothered to check in the system who’s name was associated with Sunday’s reservation. She simply kept telling my wife she’d have to reserve and pay for another room-insane. My wife then left, and I went to the office. I showed her an email of our Expedia reservation. Then only at my direction, and after several minutes of going back and forth with a growing line being me, did she then looked in the system. Ahhh- then she saw the name on reservation for the room was in our name. Now, after initially being told our name several times, why wouldn’t she look to see what name was associated with the reservation? Instead of checking in the system, we had unnecessary stress and aggravation. So, our stay was not enjoyable due to a really bad matress and beat form, dirty and torn sofa in this kind oceanfront suite, and a unhelpful staff member.
