The property was very nice and the room was updated. It had a big pool and an additional pool next to the bar. The property was clean and everyone was very friendly. We will definitely come back.

Spacious updated rooms- love the outdoor patio. Bathroom tiny. Staff attentive and friendly. Sargassum was disgusting- gross smell, no access to beach. They should definitely plow an area to enter water- they cleared a launch area for kayaks. Lunch was ok. Woman manager of property unfriendly and unapproachable- she made zero contact with guests.

We loved the property before the renovation and now love it more! Beautiful renovation. We love how family friendly the place is. Everyone we interacted with was very nice. I would say on the holiday weekend they were understaffed but overall a very enjoyable experience. Great location on Islamorada.

Absolutely stunning area, and we had a cabana room that was fantastic. Pool area nice, restaurant good, we used the paddleboards and enjoyed that. The only things i would say is that these are new rooms, but literally no bathroom space, shower is small, and no where to set your bathroom stuff, that being said, i would definitely stay there again.

We had such a memorable stay at the Islander Resort. We truly loved every second of it! The staff was warm, attentive, and always helpful without being overbearing. The rooms are spacious, beautifully kept, and having a private patio was the cherry on top. Everything from the beach to the pool, movie nights, and on-site dining was a solid 10/10. I especially appreciated how much was within walking distance, yet the resort also offered an on-demand shuttle for when we wanted to explore a bit further. It made everything so easy and relaxing. Can’t wait to come back!

The place has great potential, a beautiful atmosphere, and good energy, but honestly, I would expect a more courteous staff that matches the price point. The only team that really stood out were the guys from the beach activities — always smiling and providing top-notch service. They were truly excellent! Unfortunately, the rest of the staff did not meet the same standard, and the level of customer care was not what you’d expect from a hotel aiming for a five-star experience. Even the reception could benefit from investing more in staff training: more smiles, more professionalism, and a greater focus on the guests. Otherwise, if it’s not possible to improve the service, it would be fair to adjust the prices accordingly. It’s simply not right to pay five-star prices and not receive the level of service that should come with it.

The property is beautiful with its lush landscapes and walkways, although there were no signs to direct you to the different bldgs No beach! The nice beach area pictured on line was full of seaweed, could not enjoy. Guests complaining about extremely warm Pool water temperature. Front desk said pools are heated throughout the year, even in the hot summer months. Makes no sense! Rooms are nice but floors were dirty. I took wet towel to mop inside as well as outdoor porch area. Most disappointing to me was not being able to enjoy the beach area! Tides restaurant on property, very nice!
