I had booked a king bed in a superior room but I was given a twin bed room. I was on my own so this was not a huge problem but not what I booked. The TV frequently stopped working and the WiFi was intermittent. It wasn’t possible to get through to anyone on the phone from the room. In the morning a male engineer came into my room at 7.20am with a key while I was asleep. He apologised saying that he thought the room was empty. Then at 7.30am housekeeping let themselves in again saying that they thought the room was empty. My digital key was deactivated at 9am without me checking out. The reception staff were polite when I raised them problems with them but all that could be said was that they were sorry.

A well appointed room and very helpful service. Not everything is 5 star. There are scuffs on the walls and it’s a crowded hotel at times but I thought it was worth the price. The location was great and it was a 5 min walk from the Underground and Waterloo station.

The staff were very helpful and very welcoming. I had booked a room suitable for 3-4 adults, but checked in for my daughter and I. My other daughter asked to come and stay when I asked for the sofa bed to be pulled out and let reception know I was checking in a 3rd, they advised there wasn’t room. However they accommodated by moving me into a suitable room.

Ok. Staff made mistake and rooms were not together and one didn’t have a second bed. Staff were nice. Breakfast not great. Was disappointed with lack of mini bar or milk in the room. Telephone didn’t work and light switches were mis-labelled- engineer amused us with this.
