We had a very disappointing stay. Check-in was slow, even though we arrived early, paid, and checked in, our room wasn’t ready until 4pm. When we finally got in, the room was dark and depressing with an atrium view. We ended up paying extra to upgrade just to feel comfortable.
The main issue, however, was with payments. The hotel manually processed a second payment for our stay the day after check-in. It took around 30 minutes and a manager’s intervention to have this released back to me. Then, on the day we checked out, yet another unauthorised payment (for a different amount) was taken from my account. This wasn’t refunded for two days, and despite several attempts to contact the hotel, I’ve still had no explanation or follow-up.
Overall, a stressful experience that completely overshadowed our stay. Definitely not what you’d expect from a professional hotel
