If you intend to visit Itako, be sure to pre-plan, because you won't find a lot of hotel options close to Itako's heart.

While Itako can't claim to be Kanto's accommodation capital, it is home to the New Makomo Hotel, which is relatively close to the city centre.

You could look at the Hilton Tokyo Narita Airport or the Crowne Plaza ANA Narita. The Hilton Tokyo Narita Airport can be found 25 kilometres from the centre of Itako. The Crowne Plaza ANA Narita is situated 25 kilometres away. The Narita Tobu Hotel Airport, as well as the Radisson Hotel Narita, are some alternative accommodation options worth looking into around Itako.

After you have spent some time in Itako, set out to soak up the other attractions in the Kanto area. Kanto is blessed with beaches, coastal plains, forests and mountains. Commonly visited Kanto visitor attractions include the ruins and castles. Or join the locals snowboarding while you're here.

Don't skedaddle before you have checked out the Tokyo Tower and Tokyo Sky Tree in Tokyo.
