My husband and I stayed here while driving from Florida to Wisconsin and were disappointed by several issues. We chose this specific hotel because it advertised having a hot tub which would have been nice to relax in after driving for several hours, but when we arrived, we discovered it had been filled in with cement—even though it’s still listed as an amenity.
Check-in wasn’t overly friendly but was okay, however when we checked out, we felt rushed out the door, even though we were no where close to being past the required check out time. Our room door didn’t latch unless we pushed it forcefully, and the nearby exterior door also didn’t close properly, which made the location not feel secure. Even the TV didn’t work at first, so my husband had to fix it himself, and our shower leaked, which was annoying but not overly horrible.
On the positive side, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. However with all of these things happening at once and within one stay: the poor maintenance, misleading amenities, and lack of hospitality made this a disappointing stop. Unfortunately, we would not consider staying here again.
