The room floor was not clean. I also had to get linen for pull out couch from the front desk myself. It was not brought to my room. My suite had 2 TVs but 1 remote and was only prepped with two washcloths for four people staying in the room.

Although the hotel was conveniently located, the overall condition of the hotel was poor. The doors didn't close easily. You had to pull it hard or kick it open or closed. The floors were sticky, the countertop on the dresser was broken and poorly repaired instead of replaced. The morning of our departure we found a roach crawling across the floor. We will never return to this hotel.

Front desk staff Tiffany was bery friendly and helpful grabbing sheets for the pullout sofa. Room was old in poor condition needing repairs. Safety concern with smoke detectors missing in the room.

We got the “suite” as it is combined rooms for 5 people. Floors were dirty with a dead bug on the floor. The one unit had the fridge removed and this jacked up hole in the wall/cabinet where the fridge should be. Worst of all, opened the hide-a-bed couch, super thin mattress, huge disgusting stain on it, no sheets/pillows, got the sheets and came back to my son search the bed for bed bugs….didn’t find any, but it was that disgusting. Wished we had paid more for a better hotel room. My girls are still having nightmares from that experience. Breakfast was good but pancake machine not working…so…

When I went to check in to the hotel, they gave me a key to a room that had not been made up or cleaned at all. I went back and they gave me another key to a different room and when I tried that, the key didn’t work. I went back a third time and got a new room with a new key and tried again but still the door didn’t open. I went back and they told me I had to really shake and lift up the door handle. I went back for the fourth attempt at a room and finally got in. The room was quite run down and I could hear dogs barking in other rooms all night. It was fine for just two nights but definitely would not recommend.

The staff was terrific. However, we got our key and walked in the room and were hit with a horrible odor. There was dirt all over the bathroom floor, the light was broken, the door to the hotel looked dented like it was kicked in. People were outside blasting music and smoking weed right next to us. Needless to say, we got fully refunded and trekked to a different hotel.

The manager was super nice and accommodating! She made sure me and my dog were taken care of. Can’t remember her name right now but she definitely runs the place! Everyone I’ve met that works here was also super sweet and cool as well. There is a younger girl who works during the day who is so sweet and she definitely makes my life easier when paying the stay over fee thing. I just so happened to see her mom as well, who is hilarious. I’ve stayed at a bunch of places in Jacksonville where the staff was rude, rooms were gross, and the price was much higher than this. For the price you’re not going to get a better quality stay in Jacksonville. Don’t see why anyone would go anywhere else! 😭👎

Our room was disgusting! There was hair all over our bathroom floor, around toilet and in shower/ tub. The sheets looked like they haven't been washed, we actually went and bought sheets to put on and tossed them out after, there was sticky stuff all over the nightstand etc. I went to manager, and she took off $50.00 for the 2 nights we were there. Are you kidding me??!! I will NEVER stay there again!!!

Never felt so unwelcome in my life from the start I felt like I got scammed I went online and did my pre-purchase and read everything up there and then went to the hotel and that guy looked at me like I wasn't supposed to be there and did everything to keep me out of there and said I had to pay a deposit and it was in the paperwork and I said it wasn't after that we left me my wife my 16 year old and my three-year-old mind you we were in the middle of a winter storm and had nowhere to go but I knew what was going on because I have family in the hotel business and they told me when they don't want you to stay in their hotel they make excuses they don't be rude because they know they can't but they make all types of excuses for example the deposit is by choice they don't have to do that and they can see your situation and decide what they want to do this man was blatantly rude and I did not appreciate it and this was in the Baymont in Jacksonville North Carolina
