Poor Customer Service

I was told if i wanted to extend my stay, just book it on line so i wouldn't have to check out and check back in. I did as I was instructed and then called the front desk 3 time at 9:38am at 11:45am, I get a knock on my door telling me I needed to go downstairs, I asked for what and was told to talk to the front desk clerk about extending my stay. I had to go downstairs and other than taking my clothes, I had to put another deposit, show my ID ect... ultimately checked out and had to check back in, including another deposit. Also the front clerk was not helpful and rude, to the point that she had to get a manager. Unfortunately, all of that could've been avoided with a proper attitude and a smile.

Great Stay!!! Bridgepoint Hotel & Marina

Danielle @ front-desk greeted me warmly, made my check-in process quick and seamless. Provided check out time & continental breakfast details. The room was very clean and welcoming!! I’m definitely staying here again. The bed was very comfortable and cozy. Rooms and bathroom are modern, there is a coffee maker, iron & ironing board! Plenty of clean towels and provided soap. I appreciated the rate I paid but knowing how nice it is I would easily pay more. The location is perfect, walkable to Union Park and there is a restaurant across the pond - Outback.

The hotel has severe musty moldy smells, maintenance and plumbing issues (toilets, sinks) and overall very poor upkeep. The staff was so nice and tried very hard to find a room that could be occupied - free of mold and plumbing issues…there were no rooms on floors 3,4 that could be entered due to mold smell. A room was located on second floor with acceptable plumbing…light mold smell, partly camouflaged by heavy cleaning product perfumes…the hotel management would not provide refund or we would’ve left.

Checked in for one night 7/5/2025 because our A/C stopped working at home. Got to room 405 around 8 PM and got up at 4 AM to go to work and had 11 bed bug bites on my legs. I called that afternoon, they said they would look into it. The general manager called me the next afternoon and left a voicemail saying no bed bugs. I have called him back multiple times wanting confirmation that the room was professionally checked but I have not gotten a return call.
