The evening check-in person, Betty was very snippet and rude during my check-in. I would think that as a hotel employee, she would be polite and accommodating to the customer. She could have at least pretended to value my business! Because of this treatment, it put a negative opinion on the entire experience. The hotel and the room itself was very nice, but I would not stay here again because of the check-in experience.

Loved the Riverwalk and the cleanliness of the hot

Everyone was friendly and helpful. The linens smelled cleaned (which is huge plus). The layout of the room was great and just what we need. We really loved the Riverwalk and all of the ducks/geese. The only thing that I would suggest is a better menu for dinner and the pricing is a little high for the food.

Stolen Items from Our Room

My wife had personal items stolen out of our room. She addressed the issue with hotel staff, but staff was dismissive towards her. They said they would come back her on the issue, but never did. Very poor service. Be wary of protecting your belongings if you stay at this hotel. Going forward, we will be traveling with a video camera in our room everywhere we stay.

The location of the hotel is amazing with tons of dining options within walking distance of a short 3 minute drive. The staff was great. The room itself was beautiful, but the fridge did not work (had a bad smell in it) and the toilet did not flush properly. Also wish there was a room option with queen size beds.
