Marine infantry training graduation

I was very pleased with the accommodations. The hotel's near the Marine base, so travel was relatively easy, except during rush hour. My TV remote had dead batteries and the desk clerk didn't have any. She gave me the batteries out of her remote and we were up and running. I had to repair a leg on the mini fridge, but I like doing those kinds of things. I would highly recommend this hotel given the reasonable price and comfortable accommodations.

Great Stay – Highly Recommend!

I had a fantastic experience at [Red Roof Inn & Suites Jacksonville, NC ]. The staff were friendly and helpful from the start, and check-in was quick and easy. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with a great view. The breakfast was fresh and delicious with plenty of variety. The location was perfect—close to everything but still quiet. Overall, a smooth, relaxing stay. I’d definitely come back!

Bed was incredible hard. Felt like we slept on the floor. Most of the doors were peeling. And the toilet paper holder looked like it was about to fall off the wall. They advertise a hot tub, which was a main reason why we rented that particular hotel, only to find out it was broken and the continental breakfast was horrible…

Outdated, rust on floor lamp in room. Had a split room with door lock that wasn't locking the best. Pillows and mattress were terribly uncomfortable. When requested different pillows or another room was told that "these are new mattresses', and we do not have any more pillows". Loud, nothing was done to quite noise after the midnight hour.

The roof was leaking into the swimming pool outside a vent cover like a steady stream and had been for some time, there was pet hair on our towels and dirt swept into a corner of the bathroom. Staff was amazing just not the cleanliness.

Friday’s breakfast was Miles better than Saturday’s breakfast. Friday is breakfast had meat and eggs and all kinds of stuff and Saturdays breakfast seemed to swap that out for biscuits and gravy. I like biscuits and gravy, but that is a side item that is not an entrée. I still want The eggs and sausage or bacon or ham or whatever type of meat. But biscuits and gravy is not an entrée. I’m glad to have it. I appreciate it just not as the main course. Does that make sense? But definitely loved the indoor pool. You did a good job with our special request. We appreciate that if My marine stays there much longer I may use y’all again.
