Upon checking in, the front desk staff did not greet us. Many guests were lingering in the lobby, blocking the entrance to the hotel. Additionally, the trash can near the elevator was overflowing. While the door attendant opened the door for us, he seemed distracted and was looking at his phone. The scan-to-pay parking system is quite frustrating; we preferred the older system.

When i booked my stay i booked under the understanding that the Hotel was equipped with a pool, gym, parking for my vehicle, rooftop space. When getting there i was told by the front desk staff that they had no pool available at the time but i can book a day pass for a pool 5 minutes away from the hotel, and the same for the rooftop. the parking was through a 3rd party company at $67 a nigh. I booked a king deluxe suite with separate sitting area and a view of NY but When i got to my room it was a regular Hotel room with no sitting area and all I wad able to see out the window was buildings and a huge parking garage. Not to mention that the refrigerator was broken. I was so disappointed and will never ever book there again.

Many years of multiple rooms and room nights. We love the location and the staff are nice. However, the condition of the rooms is unacceptable. At $400 a night how many times do you need to have the facilities staff addressing problems with the room? One member of our party didn't have a door or a shower curtain in his shower. My wife and I were in a room that had a bathroom door that could not be closed. The bathroom door problems are not new - back in June we stayed there and a member of our party got stuck in the bathroom because of the incorrectly installed doors during the renovation. You would think after something like that they would check the other rooms. Not wait for people to have problems and to address them one by one. It seems greedy and irresponsible.

Absurd - these newly renovated rooms have improperly constructed doors. One room required repeated full body contact to open. But even worse, one member of our group was stuck in the bathroom. At midnight on Saturday night, we had to spend the better part of an hour figuring out how to get inside his hotel room to free him from the bathroom. Thankfully he had brought his phone to the bathroom or he would have been stuck all night! The staff were nice enough, but nothing at all extended as even as gesture to make up for an awful experience. An awful experience that cost $650 a night, by the way! It 8s worth noting, from talking with staff, door problems are not unusual here. We have stayed at this hotel many times in the past - it is generally nice and in a great location. But we won't be staying again.
