Our sink didn’t drain, and when we called the night clerk, she came to our room and saw that indeed the sink did not drain. In addition, our outer door did not lock properly so we had to use the metal lock. Lastly thr hair dryer didn’t work. When I turned it on the coils turned red and then it stopped working. I told all of this to the desk clerk in the morning and she said she tried to call the manager but couldn’t reach her. I asked if we could get a discount or reduced charge and she said she was sure the manager would be in touch with me. She hasn’t reached out. The one other strange thing they do at this hotel is scan your license and charged me a $60 for just in case which apparently will get credited to my account. ??

We had reservations at a different hotel in carthage but it as horrible l, so we found the days inn hotel and was wondering. Great staff upgraded our room to ground floor room no extra charge. The towels were a little rough but that is my only complaint. Comfortable beds, clean room.

Overall it is a very good hotel! Access to the hotel was a bit odd, though very understandable! The hotel was very clean, well kept. The room was good, with only a couple of maintenance things that needed to be fixed but nothing major. Breakfast was just okay, but the seating area was small. Overall it was good!

Upper Floor no elevator

We requested ground floor room. They put us on 2nd floor with no elevator. We are senior and have difficjlty nsgotiating steps with luggage.
