After driving 13 hrs, I pd more than the usual to get a trusty clean tub to soak in. Upon arrival approx 10p at night, the clerk was surly and exhausted and told me my tired kid was acting like a dog (I assure you he wasn't). He also advised there was plenty of big rig parking in the rear of the prop but it was so narrow surrounded by curbs/embankments and dumpsters, I nearly jackknifed my 15 ft Uhaul with auto transporter trying to park so I could pull out the next morning. Worst of all, we couldnt bathe or shower bc the tub stopper was missing, revealing years of exposed sludge and what looked like mice droppings near the drain. While the room itself was otherwise nice, the building was run down and depressing. Shocked for the price point. Won't ever stay at a La Quinta again, esp the one in Joplin, MO.
