I traveled there with a group of friends. I made my reservation through the hotels.com website, while two other groups booked through Expedia. Upon arrival, we were informed that the two Expedia bookings had been canceled because, according to the staff, they do not receive payment from Expedia. We were not notified of these cancellations in advance - no email or phone message was received - and only learned about them after arriving. In addition, the front desk staff member was dismissive and unhelpful, refusing to accommodate one of the groups. His behavior came across as unwelcoming, and we felt that the way we were treated had a discriminatory undertone.
