Definitely a mixed review here as this place seems to be in transition
The room itself was clean for the most part, furniture was new and bed was comfortable and it included a small microwave and fridge that functioned well.
However, the AC unit just blew lukewarm air no matter how low the thermostat was set, it never truly cooled the room and it was always humid in the room.
The curtains were very dated with lots of small holes.
The bathroom was VERY dated and in need of updating.
The hallway rugs were dirty and water stained, the walls were newly painted but the doors and hardware were very run down.
The main area was clean and well kept and it is clear that this was, at one time, a resort with amenities. there is a pool and hot tub in the main area so that makes the whole place smell a bit musty but all those areas look well maintained, albeit looked desolate: bar/restaurant and what appeared to be snack bar all permanently closed.
They did have a complementary hot and cold breakfast and all of it would be described as mediocre. It was nice that it was included
The oustide was run down, weeds everywhere along the hotel and throughout the many cracks/potholes in the parking lots.
Overall, it was fine to have a place to just sleep but certainly not a hotel I wanted to spend any more time than that in.
