The hotel was empty(not busy) and waited for them to get us a clean room. Had 2nd floor rooms when i requested a first floor room. Not very clean. No remodeling in the last 10 years. Restaurant and bar closed. Enough said.

Terrible experience!! We didn't receive the room we paid for. They said the picture I saw when selecting our room was just a random picture of somewhere in the hotel and they had no upgrades available. Everything was dark, dingy and worn down. Our rooms curtains were falling down, and there were multiple droplets of blood on the wall near our room. They "upgraded" us to the "premium" side (upgrades we were told they didn't have initially). The room was bigger, but we immediately noticed MORE blood on the wall near the mirror! We searched for other hotels, but because of the large event we were there for there was nothing available to fit our family within 40 minutes. The front desk apologized several times and moved our room again. We walked into room #3 and noticed 2 more drops near the mirror. We couldn't believe this was actually happening. Half the lights weren't working, so it wasn't as obvious to our younger children. All 3 rooms also had large stains on the carpet and chairs.The bed sheets and linens seemed clean, but we brought our own sheets and pillows based on pictures we saw of the hotel. We couldn't wait to get our family out of there. My youngest was pretty freaked out. We all were.

ZERO hot water. Room was disgusting. We were moved to a 2nd story, there are no elevators, it took many trips to get stuff from One room to the next. 1st room had NO hot water. 2nd room was barely luke warm water, mold everywhere, food on the walls. Both rooms smelled awful. Staff took an extremely long time to get the rooms checked out. 1st night older lady was extremely rude when we were checking in. Waste of money

We went into our room and there was blood stains on the bedding, curtains and the floor. There was still trash under the beds from the previous person. Also there was dirty towels that were supposedly washed. Will not return.

The toilet was so low to the floor that we had a hard time getting up. The tub was so slippery that I fell even after my wife told me it was slippery. There was dirt in every corner on the floor of the bathroom. The free breakfast was average but the scrambled eggs were cold, not even slightly warm. We will never go to Red Lion again.

The attendant was nice ar first but said housekeeping would have to give me a clean bedspread. She couldn't provide one because ahe couldn't leave the desk. The windowwas open and a spider was crawling on the window base and the curtain had many worn holes in it.

The fire alarm was hanging from two wires from the ceiling. The TV / fridge hutch falling apart the back was leaning on the wall and the fridge was leaning towards the middle. We asked for a hair dryer and they brought one with the screws still hanging out of the back like it was just taken off the wall. The shower head was at the height of my chest and im 5' 10". I took pictures if you wNt them.

This place is horrible! Some of the issues: • Rotting wood and washed out sign on the exterior • Sheets all stained on both beds/looked like blood and who knows what. • No bedspreads. • No coffee pot • Microwave unplugged and no plug-ins that weren’t behind furniture. • In-house restaurant not open. • Breakfast bar had no staff and most of food was empty. We will never stay there again.

It was an okay trip. The room was spacious for my family and the beds are confortable. But, the room cleanliness was an issue. There were bugs, specifically a single cockroach was found in the room and a brown recluse spider was also found. There was dust on the pictures and splatters of some unknown substances on the walls. There were sunflower seed shells found through out the room, the carpets were sticky. The staff was friendly, the pools were amazing. We loved that they had a shallow pool for the kids who are not strong swimmers.
