Location, Location, Location...Although located off the major road. You felt like you entered your own private oasis when you entered the property. It had a private beautiful beach with comfortable spots to have your morning coffee and night time wine. We stayed five nights and did not have room service once. We got towels upon request but I would suggest room service, we thought after 3 nights there was room service.

Highly recommend

Drift was quiet and peaceful. The location on the water was great. I liked the codes used on the doors so you don’t have to worry about keys or cards. The available bikes and kayaks are a great addition.

It was ok. The bathroom door stuck. The shower faucet was coming out of the wall. The floor had some spots that made it feel like we would fall right through. We called to make sure there was a dock for our boat but what we were told and what was there are two different things. Overall we picked it for location and this was the second time we have stayed there. It won’t ever be a top choice for us, but for location and convenience it’s ok.

We loved this property! It was quiet, convenient to restaurants & shopping, and we were able to park easy. The hotel offered kayaks & paddle boards for guests to use. The beach area was perfect & only a short walk to enjoy the water. Loved all the greenery around the grounds and the lighting at night was beautiful.

We LOVED the view and the seating available to just chill and watch the water or read (including swings and hammocks). The property does not have a “beach” but most affordable properties in the Keys do not. John Pennekamp State Park is about 20 minutes away and has 2 nice beach areas. This property could use some updating/maintenance, but for the price, I would do it again!! We were very close to a number of “touristy” options including bars, restaurants, shops, and charter boats.

Great little hotel in Key Largo

Great place right on the water. Nicely refurbished and decorated. The available free kayaks and paddle boards were an added bonus. All of the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

The people that run this place are really great. It s very quiet and we loved the tiki huts and the pier that sat out in the water with the deck chairs. It’s very clean and they are very accommodating.

I rented a junior suite for 3 people and it ended up being a shoebox. They did not prep the room for 3 people… towels for 2 and there was a pullout couch with limited bedding. Once the couch bed was engaged there was no where to walk. Plus no breakfast options. The tv had many streaming options but u had to have your own account to use them. It was overpriced for what was offered

Beach and oceanfront property,seems to be at a premium in Key Largo these days and The Drift Motel,offers a very nice although small,oceanfront,beach and dock area in which to sun,enjoy some sand and swim or snorkel a bit if you choose.Or of course just lounge on one of the comfy beach loungers or cabana covered areas.

The pictures are kind of deceiving… room was OK- but smelled of mold/ mildew. Definitely below average hotel. If you’re looking for a bed to sleep in it’s probably fine but anything else, it’s not the best especially for the money.

Cute little hotel. Recent renovations were comfortable if not a little sparse. The little beach area was quiet and had plenty of seating and areas for the guests. Beautiful sunset and views onto the bay side. It is definitely not a huge chain resort which was why we liked it.
