Very quiet cute place to stay. Air was cold and bed was comfy. We were there only 2 days and second day we had to hot water. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was typical contential breakfast.

Its location is excellent and front desk and housekeeping staff were extremely helpful. We recognize it is an old establishment, but it could use more TLC. Plumbing fixtures were flimsy, outside patio cushions need replacement, detail cleaning of corner areas, and breakfast could start earlier.

Great hotel, old buildings converted to a hotel , very beautiful. Staff is excellent, facility is excellent, location is great. I meet people who have been go to this hotel for years, one couple 13 years. I will stay here the trip key west.

The room we had should not be used. It is very small, the bed is basically a cot, and the mattress has little support. The grout on the tile floor was loose, so we were stepping on pieces all the time. There was a frame for a smoke detector but no smoke detector. The bathroom was super small, no place to hang a hand towel or keep your toiletries. Breakfast was just muffins in a bag. There was a horrible smell of sewer just outside our door that would creep in through the door. I do not recommend - there are too many other choices in Key West.
