Based off the lower rated reviews, I was not sure what state our room would be in & if I’d feel like we received our value for the money we paid. But, our stay at Parrot Key was everything we hoped it would be. We had a water view double queen room & it was clean w/updated decor & a private balcony w/seating. Others complained about having to ask for room service but when we needed our towels changed, we did as instructed & made our requests prior to 10:00am & by the time we got back each day, our towels were in our room. There were some negative experiences with the shuttle but we found the timing of the shuttle convenient to our plans & there were even two extra stops (7:00 & 9:00 pm) from Duval street that the shuttle driver of the day let us know about. There was a hiccup with the bill on check-out but they quickly worked to resolve the issue (although I did have to assist them in seeing the error). Just do your diligence. Great stay overall & recommend!

Staff was excellent. Hotel was a little more dated than I expected but staff worked with me and made sure that I was happy with my stay! I will definitely return but next time bring the whole family. I loved that this hotel was situated outside of the main Duvall area (hustle and bustle) allowed me and my son to come back to a quiet, safe and peaceful abode. Loved that they had more than one pool area and separate pool area for adults. Staff was hands down the best!!

We checked in late on 7/19 around 10:30pm. Very inflexible for a late check out even though I am a VIP member. No VIP perks besides the room upgrade which is average, with no view (picture attached) not to mention the key card gets demagnetized 3 times so we found ourselves back and forth to the front desk. And lastly, the pool is filled with dead mosquitoes. I really dont know how this hotel gets exceptional reviews because I have been here for less than 24hrs and my experience is below mediocre

The hotel was nice and service was good. the pool wasn't very clean but i can understand it's was hard to keep it clean with all the trees and leaves around. If you want to relax and enjoy a relaxed stay, this place is for you. good location.

The cafe’s food was so-so. The server, Ramona, was amazing. Loved her. The rooms were spacious and quiet, but the beds were hard and the pillows were not comfortable. There were several pools to choose from. Loved all the chickens and kitties that were around. Love that the staff was so friendly. Would stay here again.

Pros - We enjoyed our stay at parrot key. Pools were nice and there was several of them. We had the partial water view and the patio was great. Food is good and they will serve you right at all of the pools. Very convenient. Can rent a golf cart on site which is great. Cons- The floor rugs in our villa were disgusting. Need stanley steamer to make 3 trips in there. Mandatory valet parking sucks. I didnt use my car all but once for the entire week and you still have to pay their fee everyday. Not ideal when the hotel is already costing a lot. Overall, we do like it here, although a couple things they need to get sorted out.
