Staff was excellent. I have never paid for a room for four nights and not had my room cleaned each day. If no maid service, the rates should be reduced for multiple night stays. Breakfast was chaotic. Vouchers should be given to guests and if you do not use the voucher you should be given money back. One morning there was not nearly enough dining room space and the following morning there was NO milk for cereal and several mornings there was an issue with the waffle machine. You need a person helping make waffles! You need to provide a larger dining space or somehow cdo crowd control. One day the pool couldnt be used.

We had a wonderful stay and could see Mount Rushmore from the outdoor seating area. The room was a bit dated but clear. We got the room with the bunk beds and it was a bit small but our girls enjoyed it (I knew it would be small based on previous reviews). They prepared a huge breakfast. We would stay here again!

We ended up with a balcony which was great then we realized we could see Mount Rushmore from the balcony and it made it even better. I liked how we were able to open the window in our room and the beautiful view from the 3rd floor. The pool and hot tube were fine and a great place to unwind each night.

Great location and very friendly, helpful staff. breakfast was good. Parking lot asphalt needs repair. Loose tiles in the ground floor hallway are a trip hazard. The luggage carts were worn out. Curtains on the ground floor need addition of sheers. If the curtains are open, anyone in the parking lot can look right into the room. Also, suggest that key cards should need to be used at night to access doors in the parking area.

This was the smallest, oldest and outdated room we have ever seen. The mini fridge was literally on the floor. The TV didn't work, requested repair and maintenance was there immediately. It took maintenance a while along with three calls for support and finally got it working, but only for a short time. Gave up on getting the TV fixed. The halls smelled horrible. The breakfast was good. I can't personally recommend this hotel and won't stay there again.

I made my reservation online and liked that it had a breakfast buffet and that I could reserve and pay later at check in. When we went to check in, I wanted to pay with cash as I was trying to avoid using any credit cards or debit cards as I had budgeted those for only pay at the pump purchases. I was told it would be $100 deposit if I paid with cash, so I had to transfer money from my son's bank account in order to cover the cost of the room. I also thought that the room was small, the bathroom was very small. The shower curtain rod curved upward at each side and I am very short, so I was not able to close the shower curtain completely, so it sprayed water everywhere. The shower curtain was fabric, so it was soaking wet after taking a shower. The position of the toilet paper holder was in a very awkward place to be able to reach comfortably. Overall, the room was not worth the cost. The breakfast was ok, but not great. There was not a lot of room to park and you could only park in one direction so you had to go to the end of the parking area to turn around in order to get out of the parking lot. Overall, I would not spend the money to stay there again.
