This was a great resort but the wifi was not that great. The putt putt was dark and hard to see the balls did not glow which made it hard. The pool dj was wack he wasn’t allowed to play hip hop or Latin music.

This was a really nice resort. We stayed at the palms villas one bedroom and it was very comfortable. I will definitely go back again. We had an amazing time. The lake sis not look food but we did have fun. The staff is amazing and they were very helpful.

Average Stay

We took a family trip staying in Texas. The resort is expensive and basically everything cost. Nothing really included except the pools. So, plan to spend money for putt putt golf and expensive meals. There was only 2 restaurants open in July so very little choices on the resort for food. Our 2 queen bed room was very small (comparing to a Marriott Hotel room) so we were a litte cramp with our chidren in room. We wanted to do water aerobics and zumba (advertised) and no one could locate for us and later told us they were cancelled for the day? Late night disco was over by 9PM. Not sure if we would visit again.

Great facilities and plenty of things to do for kids and adults alike. Pool options were fantastic as was the live music. Rooms were clean and well equipped. They were also serviced regularly. Fitness center was also functional and usable. It tries catering to a wide variety of audience and that’s where it falls down a couple of notches. Food wise we felt it was too much of the same style- barbecue and burgers. Would have been nice to see different cuisines and vegetarian/ vegan options. We got pretty bad weather so lots of outdoor options got ruled out. I’m look forward to trying out this place hopefully with better weather next time around and play some golf and tennis.

Great Weekend Full of Activities for Family

Our family of 5 visited in June for a 2 night weekend. Kids ages 13, 11 and 8- all had a blast! We rented a 2 BR condo and it was updated, clean and spacious with great view of the lake! We played putt putt, did the floating obstacle course, rented a Cabana at the floating pool, rented a ski boat, played tennis and dined at 3 diff restaurants. It was a blast! None of these amenities were included, but was worth the cost (and hell, always cheaper Than owning a boat!) We cant wait to come back with our extended family in the fall!
