Great place

The room was very clean. The TV is also a very good size. The bed is comfortable. My only complaint is that I reserved a non smoking room and it smelled pretty strong like cigarettes. I asked for an air freshener but they didn’t provide one.

Things to consider…

Everything seemed to be ok. Upon arrival to check in, I was charged an additional $35 security deposit. The clerk also wanted to charge me an additional $10 for each person that would be entering the pool. I was in town for work and wanted to spend time with my children, that I seldom see, and wound up paying way more than I expected to pay. What was the point of reserving online at a cheaper rate??? Overall, I would NOT rent here again.

The problems I had during my stay were due to malfunction of the door. We had to CON•STANT•LY!! Go to the front desk everytime to request a new key, I’m not an idiot I knew not to have it near any electronics that could’ve stripped the key from its assigned door # . It was a hotel malfunction and was very inconvenient , they’re was a cold front and it was very cool and inconvenient having to run around to get into the room . Other than that everything seemed average , the rooms need more toilet paper, no refills were provided you have to request but one roll for a 3 night stay is absurd not very logical ? Usually 3 are left on the counter but none was provided except the one on the holder currently in use.

Superior comfort in it's price class

I like staying at this Econo Lodge when headed home from Mexico. The bed and pillows are superior to those in the same price range. I sleep better here. You have the standard fridge and microwave. The rooms are small but cozy. When it's just me, it's plenty of space. I haven't yet tried the outdoor swimming pool. I did enjoy the coffee in the lobby. The lady at the desk says they have coffee starting at 7 am.
