I was fooled by the fake good reviews. The musty smell was OVERWHELMING. There were PAW PRINTS on the fitted sheet, stains on the bed cover and pillow cases. The floor looked as if it hadn’t been vacuumed in a year. Other people’s food on the floor! The toiletries provided were used, the seals broken. When asked for a refund they said they could not provide it because I went through a third party.

It was clean,but everything needs updating.Bathroom fixtures look original.Front desk staff very helpful. Its convenient located by all the Kittery outlet shops. And Dunkin Donuts right across the street. No elevator,in case thats an issue. Hallway carpets stained.
Breakfast room clean.
Limited offerings ,but what they had was good.
Looks like the original fixtures.
One if the best room fridges I've seen....it actually had a reasonable freezer space!

Within walking distance to the outlet mall. Midpoint for area attractions. Kittery, Maine and Portsmouth were only a 5 minute drive. Mrs. & Me Ice Cream place was within walking distance and ice cream was amazing.

Nice hotel.

Jay, the host was incredibly kind and easy to chat with. He is a gem and an an asset to the hotel and its owners. Our 2nd floor room was spacious and held a clean ‘n comfortable bed. The bathroom was well maintained.The carpet is in great need of a good and thorough cleaning, though.

We only needed a room for 5 hours from 9am to 2pm. I explained this to a nice young man named Jay. I was hoping to get a reduced rate. There was no flexibility and I had to pay for 2 days. We didn’t even spend a night. Sometimes it’s good customer service to make an exception to the rules. Maybe we could have paid for one night and then an extra charge for staying 3 hrs past check out time of 11am. It would have been very nice but having to pay for 2 nights under this circumstance doesn’t seem reasonable. Maybe Coachman Inn should consider this going forward. Thank you for your time. Its close to the area I needed to be in.I stayed here 30 years ago and I dont believe it has been updated.it was clean.The hallway carpets were stained.Breakfast was limited,but ok.My room ( on 2nd floor,no elevator) did have a great mini fridge that had a very nice size freezer compartment.
