We were in the older portion of the hotel which was more worn down looking. They only had smoking rooms available. The cigar smell when you open the room door was a lot. But the sewage smell made it even worse. We bought a device from Yankee Candle that helped with the cigar smell but did little to help with the sewage. The pool area was really nice till the hot tubs got crowded with loud drinks. The staff was very attentive. The dining options were nice.

It was okay. The room/bed was comfortable and clean. The staff was very nice. The drink vending machine on our floor was forever "Sold Out." The minifridge in our room froze everything so left over food was wasted. The food in general seemed over priced for the taste. Most of our dishes lacked flavor. We also tried to go to the steakhouse on sight and apparently you need a reservation, this is no where on the signage or recommended by the check-in desk. The non-smoking section of the casino was a joke. Overall I was disappointed with the Casino and the surrounding area. Mostly likely will not go back there.

Blue Chip is still a good place to stay.

It was a great stay, however, I tried to get a luggage cart early Friday morning and finally found a person who did get a cart for me (note that this was at 7:00am). Couldn’t get anyone via phone early at all. And at checkout, it went well until I found out that I couldn’t get a receipt! Now that I’m home I found my credit card was again charged the $143.65…that’s done in the 10th and 13th. I’m wondering if I am being double charged or what’s going on!
