Our experience was absolutely unacceptable, largely due to the conduct of an employee named Nicole. Her behavior was not only unprofessional but dangerous and discriminatory. She cursed at the children in our group and kicked them out of the hotel in the middle of the night without cause or explanation. When questioned, she could provide no proof of any wrongdoing—only false claims and a hostile attitude.
To make matters worse, our original room had ticks, which is a serious health issue, especially for kids. When we brought this up, we were moved—but Nicole acted like our concern for the children’s health was a burden to her.
Even more disturbing was her blatant racism toward our Spanish-American group. While she berated us, other groups nearby were being loud and disruptive, yet nothing was said to them. It seemed the only difference was that they weren’t speaking Spanish. During times like these, this kind of discriminatory behavior is not only unprofessional—it’s dangerous and disgraceful.
I would never recommend this place to anyone, especially families or Spanish-speaking guests, until serious action is taken.
