This is an older property, but very clean and well maintained. The staff were the best and most friendliest we can ever remember having. The included breakfast was awesome. If we ever stay in Las Cruces again, we will definitely be returning to this property.

Above and beyond

Every member of the staff we encountered went above and beyond. Rooms were very comfortable breakfast had a good variety. We will definately stay here again.

Very good stay over all ... Whatever when I left that morning I was supposed to check up my 11:00 but when I went back to my room after breakfast my room had been partially cleaned. I think this facility needs to express more to their chambermaids to be sure that the person has actually checked out.

Very nice room. The furniture is not the standard "motel stuff" - it all had a lot of sw character. The grounds are kept well and the parking is easy.

It was quite unusual. While checking in the front desk clerk asked a not so funny question. She asked if we wanted ear plugs. Why? It gets very noisy when the trains pass by during the night. It's a good thing I took them. Not for the trains but for the thru the wall heater/air conditioner. It was extremely noisy!! It was in the 20s that night, so the heater, as noisy as it was, was necessarily. So this was the first time in my life I slept at a motel/hotel with earplugs. Lasting memories.

This property is safe, clean and very comfy. The folks are nice and the interior park area is kept very clean. We called to tell them we'd be showing up late and they were not only accommodating but, also,well prepared. The morning breakfast is filling and plentiful.

I love this hotel—probably one of my most favorite hotels in all of America! Truly transporting me back to the old lodging days of quiet, cross-country trips. Affordable for my trips with my dog, very cozy and large rooms with good amenities. Very friendly staff and quiet surroundings (aside from when the train passes by). I love staying here whenever I pass through the south!

2nd floor has no elevators or handicap access. First floor okay for same... 2nd floor is fine except for senior citizens with or without handicapped status...
