We loved the size of the room and having two armchairs to relax on. Bed was very comfortable. The only addition we would have liked to have in our room was a microwave.

Room was large and comfortable. Easy parking on the site. Walkable to city centre. Creaky floorboards quite noisy from the room upstairs. Friendly helpful reception staff.

Simple property that ticked all the boxes. Great location and check in was a breeze. Only downside was that upstairs had no air-conditioning and it was quite hot into the evening.

A marvellous property to stay in Launceston. It's right in the heart of the city with easy access to the cataract gorge, walk to bakeries/shops and easy walk to explore Launceston. Only downside was that upstairs got too hot and evenso we had a fan and super comfy beds and pillows, it was hard to get a good night sleep in the heat. It was very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend Hide away at George.

A great place to stay, in the CBD, walking distance to so many things, yet far enough away to be quiet. Because it's up a little laneway it made it feel safer leaving our car in the carpark.

Spacious two bed townhouse in quiet position

A fabulous find! A lovely 2-bed townhouse. Lots of space. Kitchen/laundry/bathroom was fully equipped. Lots of parking spaces. There was only one downside: the aircon unit was downstairs, but the upstairs (where both bedrooms are) was really hot. To help, there was a pedestal fan in each bedroom. The location is fabulous and we walked to most places around town. Check-in was warm and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Dont stay on ground floor

The place itself was very good but with our room being on the ground floor we had the constant thud of noise of the people above us -- up and down the stairs and what seemed to be constant walking in their room which was very loud in our room- making it a very uncomfortable stay for us.
