Perfect stay for a visit to the state park. The restaurant and bar were nice. The food was not great but it was good, and the very nice staff and old school atmosphere more than made up for it.

Beautiful location. Clean. Paint was rough on the bathroom door, and one of the linoleum tiles in the bedroom was loose. The Colonial Dining Room restaurant was great.

Our room was a little outdated. The overall hotel had many photos and memorabilia which was nice. Downstairs was the gym, but the stairs were dirty, and the area was untidy. The restaurant and bar were excellent. Check in took a while since there was only one attendant at the desk. Hotel is in walking distance to the Natural Bridge, which was awesome!

Very old, but unique Hotel. Some people there told me they thought it was Haunted. I think a Ghost works in the kitchen because the food was scary bad.

Extremely convenient to walk to the Natural Bridge Park; literally across the street with a tunnel under the road for pedestrian access. Rural area without surrounding dining options. Dinner in the bar/lounge area was very nice.

This hotel is walking distance to the Natural Bridge State Park. It has some age but is replete with history and very clean. Big sized room. Bigger than newer hotel rooms.

Historic hotel with lots of history. Definitely worth a a visit when going to natural bridge. If you are a light sleeper bring earplugs as this is an older building with no soundproofing. Beautiful sunset on the front porch and dining on site is convenient.

Staff were great, very helpful. Room was pleasant and clean. I suppose the traditional is the plan, but a few more updates would be appealing. Such as peeling paint and rough stuff around the windows (3rd floor). Breakfast was wonderful in the dining room but dinner was half-decent...burger was very good but chicken tenders not so much.

This property is desperately in need of an update. The ceilings in the rooms are crumbling in areas and I passed on using the shower due to the condition. The hotel also smelled of strange substances (if you know what I mean) in the hallways. Lastly, if a hotel has info on human trafficking in the rooms, it’s probably not the best establishment. Unfortunately, there are not many hotel options in this area, but in future I will book in Lexington.

While the location fit my needs, the property was both worn and tired. They were seriously understaffed, the dining room experience was questionable. While the service was fine, the food was sub par and served cold. One dish was canceled as it did not make it out of the kitchen. The steak, advertised as a ribeye, was a joke - dry, thin, tough and tasteless. The dessert saved my tastebuds. Bath and facial tissue extremly poor quality. Having spent years in the hospitality business, it is hard to believe this property is up to Wyndham standards.
