This property had a decent rating, which is why we went with it. We were looking for something less expensive, but went with this as it had a family room, and the reviews/photos were nice.
Pros:
The staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was well stocked and the employee tending it was so nice and attentive to all the guests. No complaints with the hospitality at all!
Cons:
The rooms were in need of updating. The bed was legitimately bouncing and you could hear the springs everytime you moved a muscle. It was not impressively clean. Hand prints on the walls, pictures damaged and dirty, sheets on pull out bed left over from last guests, bedding not updated, sheets pilled, room smelled musty and old, couch squeaky and sunken in. We could hear every movement our upstairs neighbor made. They had a child stomping, running yelling and throwing things in the floor until well after quiet hours. We had to ask for the front desk to contact them three seperate times as we had an early morning tournament.
The pool/hot tub/sauna/workout room were in serious disrepair. Paint peeling and obvious rust and mold. Hot tub was shut down and sauna was not working but still open, the work out room consisted of a single treadmill.
I would have been fine with this level of hotel room had the price reflected it, but we paid over 200.00 for a single night. The price should
Reflect the quality of accommodations. Hopefully they’re priced high because they pay their kind staff well.
