Excellent location with a great view of the beach and ocean with convenient access to walk and play in the beach. One block walk to excellent dining. Room amenities seem to be recently updated in the suite. Love this hotel and will be back in the near future.

We’ve stayed here several times and always enjoy it. Unfortunately, our room smelled VERY strongly of pet urine. We were told the weekend was sold out for our stay so we didn’t feel we had any choice but to stay, so my husband went out and bought pet urine sanitizer for the carpets and a diffuser. After doing so, it was much better! Other than that, things were alright. I don’t think they actually lock the pool/hot tub after hours because there was a group that were very loud very early in the morning, but it wasn’t a make or break. We’d probably stay here again(this was our 4th time) but may seek other options first.

The room was not clean. Milk duds under nightstand. Shower dirty. There is no table or chairs other than a couch to sit on. The room is big but looks empty because of no furniture. Being on the ground floor, the grass off the balcony is too tall to have much of a view. There are stairs down to the beach, but there is no handrail and access to elderly or partial disabled people is a no go. I walk with a cane and and for us to go on the beach we had to go to the public access down the street to walk the beach. The staff is friendly and helpful, but would not stay here again. The sea gypsy next door is cleaner and access to beach is great. For the price there are much better places to stay.

I was place in a side room with no view except the window that people would stop outside when they were cleaning their feet from the beach, making it awkward to have the blinds open. The coffee maker was covered in dust, as were the cups. The bed was comfortable and the staff was very friendly. Access to the beach was convenient and the food served was great with wonderful gluten free options. Salmon chowder at 5pm every night was an added bonus.

Stayed one night. Very modern room with separate bedroom, beautiful shower, fireplace, cable tv and gorgeous view from the balcony. Breakfast was tasty- lots of variety. Also had the salmon chowder that is provided at 5 pm- so good! Front desk was very helpful- brought an extra comforter to the room. I highly recommend this hotel.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay as we celebrated our anniversary. Falling asleep to and waking up to the sound of crashing waves was wonderful. The free breakfast was delicious but the best part was the salmon chowder in the evenings. We had read other reviews that said so but we were blown away by how good it really was. Easy access to the beach and walking distance to great restaraunts and other treats was a huge benefit.

We enjoyed our stay. Staff was amazing, very friendly. We were not so impressed with the room conditions. We found empty cans and bottles underneath furniture and just seemed not well maintained for the money. We also were not happy about having to request new towels and to have our garbage emptied. All and all we were happy with our stay

Dirty..dirty and dirty..we had to forfeit oir second day stay and went to chinook winds hotel..that has to say a lot to leave $300 and pay to stay at another place..thats all you need to know

The lobby staff was friendly until I tried checking in at 4pm. The staff member called someone and said she was leaving with no replacement to get any customers checked in. The manager came in and got everyone checked in and was very nice and apologetic. Later in the evening on my first night in my room I found out that the toliet in the bedroom did not flush, I notified the desk the next morning and they has maintenance come fix it will I was out. Would like to have had a screen on the slider door so it could be left open without any bugs coming in. Was expecting the room to be updated with modern furniture but it gave it some nostalgia

My family and I really enjoyed the pool and easy beach access. The nightly cookies and salmon chowder were delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The downsides were the barely stocked kitchen and not so great breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.
