I didn't like no emptying trash. Beds not the most comfortable. Very dirty at the edge of the door in the bathroom. Got an ice bucket that was dirty. The first night at the pool there was no towels in there. The life savor in the pool was falling apart. The door in the back was not locked. Floors was dirty. There is a sign about privacy but they don't bother with new towels or emptying trash. I think any hotel should do that. Was not thrilled with my stay for various reason.

What I liked was that it is close to Holiday World only a 10 minute drive. What I didn't like was that both days when we went to breakfast they were almost out of food. It took the staff a long time to refill the food even after informating them that the food was out. The WiFi was very weak and kept cutting in and out of service. Same thing for the T.V. We got poor signal and picture cut in and out. Finally, there was some mildew on the shower curtain and no fan in the bathroom. We won't ve staying here again.

Avoid if you’re staying with kids

Summary: Would not suggest staying here with kids if you’re going to holiday world. Very dirty. Room smelt like marijuana, was missing lightbulbs from the bathroom, peeling paint and dirty beds with pubic hair, crumbs and stains in the sheets. They did not offer pool towels, so we had to use our room towels, not a big deal. However, housekeeping didn’t clean our room while we were gone the next day, and when we went to the front desk to ask for clean towels to take showers, they only gave us 2. They allowed semis and work trucks to take over the parking lot. So coming back after a full day at the park was frustrating fighting for parking with three tired kids in tow. Additionally frustrating/ unsafe finding a man laying in the hallway while walking to our room. Walls paper thin. Especially in the bathrooms. Breakfast was gone an hour before scheduled end time. Ended up going to the McDonald’s across the street. Pro: air worked Might be fine if you’re needing a place to stay while traveling without kids and just need a bed.

This place is ran down. The rescue equipment in the pool area is crack and not usable. I am sure it's not up to code. However I will say the beds are comfortable.

Hotel is adequate. Beds are comfortable, it’s not filthy, but it’s not very clean, air works well, and breakfast runs out before it’s over. Conveniently located by several fast food restaurants, CVS, a gas station, and it’s a straight shot to Holiday World with a short drive.

Pool is so cold you cannot use it. Hallways are extremely dirty and locks don’t work at side entrance . Be prepared to constantly get your key fixed multiple times a day. It will work for the a stay for holiday world but would not want to stay an extended period. Of note hotel is on eastern time and holiday world is on central time.

Positives: overall pretty clean minus general wear, bathroom counters and fixtures were newer, beds were comfortable, rooms were spacious, coffee was good Challenges: AC not on in room upon arrival despite outside temps of 95°+ and it took hours to cool down and get rid of the humidity, leaking faucets in shower, toilet backed up There was also apparently a microwave fire on our floor

The location was convenient to our plans and the hotel as a whole was relatively clean. However, our room was very hot and stuffy when we arrived, which was not entirely surprising considering the 95° heat outside. I understand conserving energy in an empty room, but the ac wasn't even on, let alone set to a comfortable temperature. Even after it finally cooled off, the room still felt very musty and damp. There was plenty of evidence of needed repairs, such as peeling paint and outlets and a switch that did not seem to work. (And yes, I tried the outlets again after flipping the inoperable switch.) The staff I encountered was not as friendly as I have experienced in other hotels, but they were responsive to our limited needs. The continental breakfast was just ok. It was clear they weren't interested in refilling any of the nearly depleted food items even though there was more than 30 minutes remaining on the breakfast hours. I would probably stay one night again out of the convenience of the location and the price point offered.

Booked a room for a saturday and when i got the comfirmation email it said sunday instead. Tried to get it changed to the original date i picked or refunded with no success or word from the hotel. So i lost $$ for a room i couldnt stay in as i didnt need it for that night. Also had to pay for a different room elswhere which cost me even more. All because of a mistake that wasnt even my fault. And then immediately tried to resolve the issue and it took 3 days to be told i wouldnt be refunded. Way to steal money cause thats how it feels. Sickens me at the way its not my mistake but im punished for it and stolen from.

Disappointed in hotel stay

I was disappointed in my stay at hotel. We checked in, went to the pool, I am expected a bigger pool but that my fault for not looking at what was offered. After swimming we went to get food at 10pm and the four food places close were either out food or closed at 10pm. After my shower I found a bed bug shell on one the bathroom towels, I blew it off as laundry being launder it can happen but found none in the room. Breakfast was a joke. The waffle maker kept breaking, sausage and eggs were cold not warm and little seating. I will not give this hotel a great review to friends and family planning trips to Holiday Wold. I learned today that cheaper hotel doesn’t mean you still get quality service, I should have paid more for better service.

Check in was very slow. I had paid in advance on expierian but tge check in process was incredibly slow. The frontbdesk staff were difficult to understand and had difficulty understanding english. I should have used the self check in process on Experian and wil definitely usebitbin thevfuture.
