It was just "ok". Thayer's has interesting history but the stairs going up to the rooms are banged up, the rooms need fresh paint, only 2 outlets worked in our room. The others were not working at all. Bulbs in lamps were not working. In general Thayers needs an upgrade while still keeping the character.

The cats are adorable and the location is great, quiet and relaxing. Room had all the amenities, a slightly smaller shower than usual but it's an older building and they've maintained it very well for what it is.

The room was perfect! Had everything we needed for our one night stay and the receptionist in the evening was SO delightful and nice. The only issue was our light in the bathroom stopped working half way through the night but that is not a big deal at all. The issue was known at check out and the receptionist apologized many times. Overall 10/10 ! Such a cute place and would definitely stay again if I am in the area

On expedia the site indicates they can accommodate 5 and when we arrived, the room could not sleep 5 and did not have another room to put us in. Hotel indicated expedia misrepresents their accommodations.

My room was extremely hot, and I had no thermostat to adjust. The breakfast that was included withy stay was just packaged pastries and pop tarts. For the price I paid, I do not think there was anything stand-out about this facility.
