This was a one-night stay in a longer road trip. I would NEVER stay here again. Immediately upon arriving, my husband and I were nervously looking at each other. The exterior looked extremely run down. Check in was mostly pain-free but that was about the only pro. The beds were pretty comfortable but the sheets were very scratchy. There are no elevators, so you have to carry stuff up (there may have been a ramp somewhere). There is no AC. There were windows that were open when we arrived, but honestly, the place seemed sketchy and unsafe so we were afraid to leave them open. We even propped a chair under our door at night. There was a fridge in the room, but it didn’t work.

Simple on the outside, the rooms are pretty simple - but very well kept up and very clean! Comfortable beds, and it’s QUIET! The people running the place are the best people ever. They really care that you enjoy your stay and they know the area which is helpful. They were very accommodating and were there late for us to check in. The room we had was HUGE, if you need a room for a large group they have one that will comfortably sleep between 6-9 people. The flooring, kitchen, appliances - all new or new-ish. Perfect placement if you want to be in between Long Beach and Astoria. Will absolutely stay there again.

Great location next to a cidery and near a few other restaurants and the state park (Cape Disappointment). The staff was very helpful and gave us some great recommendations. Comfy beds, decent size room was very clean. Only complaint was that the walls were thin so we could hear someone snoring and had to blast white noise our phones to drown it out.

Heidi’s hotel great break great budget

I was pleasantly surprised with Heidi’s Motel. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The room was basic but for the price was great value for money. It had a comfortable bed, small fridge, microwave and a great shower. Crockery and cutlery were given on request. I would recommend this motel and would gladly stay again.

The bed made our backs hurt. No way to plug drain in tub, no coat hangers. Poor lighting, could hear walking noise from above, coffee was cpl scoops in zip lock bag no cream/sugar/stir stik, no covered smoking area which was on sidewalk near street and a cadet heater but NO a/c!

Nice and affordable, but nothing fancy

Our stay was enjoyable. The hotel itself is a little rundown and needs some work, but it wasn’t too bad. The bed was comfortable and the room had basic necessities. I would definitely stay again to save some money, but be aware that it isn’t fancy. The manager was super helpful and had some great recommendations for places to eat and visit. My husband and I brought our dog, so it’s a dog friendly place but the walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors pretty well and our dog was whining and barking because sometimes our neighbors were loud. I plan on staying there every time I visit Long Beach, but I spend most of my time out and about, so it’s perfectly fine for me.
