The location is amazing. Downtown is walking distance, we just stayed parked at the hotel. The shower was a little rusty and part of it was taped together, but it had really good water pressure and stayed warm. During check in I asked about the baby bed that I saw they offer on their website. I was told they would call me about it, but I never got a call. My one a half year old was comfortable in the King size bed with us so I didn’t ask more about this. Other than that, service was great!

Clean 3 bedroom suite. Enjoyed our stay loved that we had a full kitchen and were able to cook our meals. Was affordable and very friendly. Only complaint is the bed.

Reasonable price for a three bedroom family sweet and full kitchen. Kitchen fully stocked with dishes for guest use. Restaurants open after 7pm are 21 and over so traveling to long beach with kids is harder than most beach towns. This hotel having a full kitchen made a huge difference for us after a quick stop at Sid's Market.

A pleasant surprise! The Coastal is a very nice motel with large well-appointed rooms. The bed was super comfortable, not the hard slab of cement so many chain motels like to use now. Reasonably priced and the staff was helpful and friendly.
