Everything about this hotel was great. The customer service was exceptional, the cleanliness of the room and lobby were great, the beds were super comfy, the free breakfast had several options that were great also. The restaurant located inside the hotel was great for dinner too. Would definitely stay here again.

This will be our go to when driving home from Florida several times a year! PROS - Beds and bedding are most comfortable out of any hotel! Showers, bathrooms, carpet, lobby is all updated and super nice. Great workout room with cardio equipment and whole rack of nice free weights. Has a cute bar area in lobby as well as restaurant with room service. CONS - it is an older building and the walls are thin. People in the halls sound like they’re in your room! Doors are heavy and slam loud, but don’t close, so you still have to pull the swollen door all the way shut. The price point is great but it also brings local teens renting rooms to party. Lots of super young sketchy looking teens hanging in parking lot and in the hallways. Same as the bar area, and you can definitely tell they’re locals. Overall, we loved the hotel for what we needed (comfort) and price! We will be back.

Some good but also some bad

When we first got there and i checked in, the girl at the front desk gave me the room number and said if i go around to the back of the building, there was an entrance and our room was right next to it. Instead, the room was at the other end of a long hallway which was actually a very short walk from the front desk. My wife has lower back and hip pain and this was very uncomfortable for her. The pool had pretty easy access but the gate on our side was padlocked so we had to walk around to the other side. When we got ready to go back inside, the door we came out would not work with the key card. The room itself was very nice, very clean and comfortable, but i tried going to the vending machines to get us drinks and neither one worked. One was completely unplugged. There was a restaurant inside, but we did not try it and instead went to an amazing Italian restaurant next door to the hotel. They had free breakfast the next morning that started at 6am. We got there at 6:15 and the food was already cold. For the most part we enjoyed our stay but this place really needs to up it's game. There is no excuse for sending people to the wrong end of the hotel to get to your room, do maintenance on doors so they'll unlock like they should and if you have 3 gates around the pool, unlock them all. Don't make it hard on people. One last thing, as i was walking in to check in i saw a sign that said they do not accept cash. They need to say that when you book the room.

Assigned room wasn't cleaned. Bed unmade, nasty stuff on pillowcases, and dirty towels on bathroom floor. Second room was clean but clearly had mold in various areas of the ceiling, bathroom vent was falling off the wall and there was a small hole in the shower floor tile. After a long drive, in bad weather, we were too tired to move AGAIN. Breakfast ran out of eggs and milk. Emailed the hotel and got the usual response of we're sorry, will have someone check on it, and please stay with us again. NOPE!

This is an older property with obvious flaws in the flooring, doors, etc. But having said that, we had everything that we needed and more. The staff bent backwards to please us and were so very helpful. Thank you for being a very reasonable price for us
