CONS-The cost for this stay was too expensive. Major updates were needed to the exterior halls and doors. The whirlpool is outdated. PROS- The room decor was updated. The bathroom vanity mirror was nice. The showerhead needed an update. Also wished they added drapery with the blackout curtains. You can easily see into the room of the curtains were open. Breakfast was ok. Wished they added a meat option to the waffle station.

Breakfast was OK, not much but OK. They need new bedding and pillows. Our room had a very deep tub with shower in it, making it very difficult and unsafe to get in and out of.

This property needs a lot of cleaning, maintenance, and updates. Our room was on the third floor. There is not an elevator, and the staircase and landing leading to the rooms on the third floor are not air conditioned. It was very hot during our stay, and our room was warm upon entering. Everything felt dirty, with several stains on the walls. There was an open, used bar of soap on the counter. We turned up the a/c, and left for the evening. Upon returning late in the evening, my son flushed the toilet and it did not work. We removed the tank lid, and there was no chain attached to flush the toilet. We had to manually flush the toilet; the inside of the tank was black with dirt and/or mold. The next morning we let the front desk know and they said someone would be out to fix it. When we returned late that evening it was fixed, however, they did not do anything in regards to cleaning the tank. The water from the bathroom vanity sink was discolored, very noticeable as the sink was white. Breakfast was good on the first day, but after a full house on July 4th, options were limited on the 5th. The room definitely looked more outdated and less clean than the online photos portray. Thankfully were only in the room to sleep, but it n full transparency, we were looking for a different property after the first night as it was very uncomfortable.

BUGS! Killed 3 within an hour. YUCK! Also this is a two story motel but has no elevator. The room I was given had only a hottub which was miserable for me to climg into and out of. I would have preferred a shower stall or at least a normal tub/shower. Will never stay at a Rodeway Inn again.

No issues, the room was clean and in good condition. The AC was very cold. ☺️☺️☺️ waffles, juice, and basic breakfast was appreciated. Would have appreciated more towels, but they provided when we asked.

Smoke detector hanging by wires from the ceiling, being a firefighter that raised my alert, ceiling was stained, bed was like sleeping on a rock, ac unit did not keep the room cool
