The location is great, just a walk across the street to the beach. The rooms were clean but maintenance was rather poor. The room door slammed into the clothing rack and hangers upon opening, there was very limited room to get to the toilet and the shower head would not move, leaving the water shooting straight into my face. Not ideal since the shower stall was so small, that one could not move to step out of the stream of water without leaving the shower altogether. There was no screen on the sliding door, so either the bugs got in or no fresh air could be had in the room. Overall, it was a cute hotel and staff were pleasant. However, the owners may benefit from hiring a licensed contractor to do remodeling in the bathroom and install a screen and a working lock on the sliding glass door.

Stayed in a different room two days before. It was great so we decided to book a room here for our return trip. The room we wanted was booked so we booked what we thought was similar. It was tiny as a shoebox. Cannot believe they can call it a room, more like a big closet. The promised view was obscured by vehicles. Be careful which room you book here or you could be terribly disappointed. This room should have been heavily discounted, it wasn’t.

Great place,friendly staff. Convenient to downtown and right across from the beach. Had a great view very relaxing sitting out and watching the sunset on the lake. Room was nice and clean just wish I had a screen on the sliding door. Can’t wait to go back. I love Ludington and I enjoyed staying here!!! I will be back.

Our room was clean, comfortable.loved the bed. Only down side was the sliding glass door had no screen. I did mention it to the desk clerk,I thought maybe because is it is the beginning of the summer season it just in place yet. We will stay there again.

Great view of Lake Michigan

The location was perfect. Awesome view of Lake Michigan. It’s right on the car ferry line so you can see the Badger come and go each day. It’s in close proximity to downtown with out being too close to downtown. Room was clean and spacious. My only complaint is that the bed was very hard and very uncomfortable.
