Great location and shuttle to the ferry for free. Pool needs cleaned. Slide is still down from a couple years ago. Toddler/kid pool play area had ice cold water.

As many reviews state, this property is in need of a lot of repair. But if you're looking for an inexpensive stay in town where the bonuses will surprise you, this is a great choice. Much is broken in the water park, game room, etc., but the beach is gorgeous, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and my family really enjoyed themselves.

Water park is a disaster! Rusted paint particles in the lazy river that looks like it’s never cleaned. Water slides not in operation, along with most of the equipment. Why does every water park in Mackinac go unattended to? Yet the prices go up! Instead of maintaining the water park, the front desk just makes you sign a waiver of liability. That’s their way of not paying a lifeguard or fixing anything. I will never stay at one of these “water park” hotels again! Do not book your stay here in the hopes of taking your children to a nice water park, you’ll be disappointed! If you do, make sure to be up to date on tetanus shot. I only booked our vacation stay here because of the water park, that’s the reason for 1 star.

It was fine for what we needed. Pet friendly which we love. It was just strange that the microwave and fridge were on a luggage rack. We would stay there again.

I made a mistake and didn't read reviews. I rented here specifically for the "water park" so my nephew and sister could have a good time there. It was horrible. Most of it is non functional, and haven't been for quite some time. All of the water slides have been long abandoned, and the ones that hadn't been sealed off didn't have any water flow, so they were impossible for my nephew to use. Some of the junk was so rusty it looked like it was going to fall down. The chlorine was way too heavy, so just being inside the falling apart non air conditioned "indoor waterpark" made your eyes burn, and it was incredibly hot, even though it was only 65 outside. The sheets have stains, and the decor inside the rooms are from 1990. I don't know what is up with the sheets, or if this is like a "Mackinaw Half-sheet" or something, but the beds not having a fitted sheet was gross. They shouldn't be allowed to advertise this as a water park. Very disappointing.

We booked this hotel for the water park to entertain my four year old. Water park was very dated and in need of repairs. One third of the park was closed completely. While I would say it was adequate for the time we spent there, pictures were misleading.

We booked 2 rooms 4 adults 1 kid.. the pool was hot water not cool or cokd warm to hot.. the slide was broke. The game room everything was broke or not working out of order so all kids have is a pool table driving car game and a claw machine that takes your money and does not work. Room 1 was good coffee pot was never cleaned it was nasty other than that it was a good room . The other room no hot water the screen to go outside was btoke the door did not lock outside and the door to get into the room did not have a safty lock. But did have a microwave and the other did not. No breakfast they give you a cupon for buy one get one free at the toast restaurant that is 20.99 for 10 yr and up.. if your not a big eater its not worth it. There bloody marry for 10 bucks had so much ice in it two drinks and it was gon dont recommend it. . The desk would rather give you a pamphlets than try to help you figure stuff out. The only fast food close to hotel is kfc and subway... the view was nice .. its not a bad hotel.. but for kids you see the pic and your like this looks sweet then you get there and nothing works..I would stay there again yes..

I booked this hotel due to the water park because we have a 17-month-old daughter who loves to play in the water. The water park smelled like a sewer and The kids pool was ice cold. The arcade room was completely inoperable. No one checked our wristband so literally anyone could have just walked in there. We booked the king suite so we could have a view in space for our daughter. The window was so dirty you could barely tell there was a lake out there.

Great staff joyful and very helpful. Waterpark was not what we expected. Water slide for my teen have NOT been working since 2019 and the hot tub was not working and full of bugs. The heated pool was good the smaller kids play are was good. It's in a great location had front row seats to the fireworks. The fire pits are a great time for the family. The balcony seemed like it has not been cleaned in some time. Most likely will not be returning to this property

You could hear everything from the hallways in the room there is no sound proofing so if you hope for sleep good luck. Road construction in front of the hotel made it impossible to get in and out of the parking lot. Beds are uncomfortable along with the pillows. Rooms are super tiny. Decent rate though but i wont be staying there again
