No microwave!!! Toilet leaks and I slipped and cut my arm. Light lens in bathroom about the sick was full of dead bugs. Light by night stand didn't have a light bulb. Otherwise people were friendly. Breakfast sucked!!! Bed was comfortable. Love the swans made out of towels.

We enjoyed that the property was close to the lake and a ferry pier. It would be better if the property had it's own beachfront instead of the parking lot that exists there now. Otherwise, it's possible to walk to the property next door and use their beach.

I do not recommend this hotel. For the same price, you can get a better hotel in the area. I stayed in this hotel in June 2025. The room was dirty as the floor looked like hadn’t been cleaned for weeks. Mosquitoes are your roommates. Don’t count too much on their towels. Tiny containers for shampoo and conditioner so better bring yours. Breakfast is muffins and coffee. 15 minutes walking from the ferry but the ferry company runs shuttles to all hotels in the area. The property is very old that the bathroom door can not be locked and you can see it is fallen apart. The toilet seat is designed for kids not for adults.

We had a cozy renovated room. The tub and shower head were a bit older, but worked fine. Not a bad stay for the price, and the hot tub and pool were nice to relax in. Only complaint is the lack of outlets. Some of the lights and the in room phone were already unplugged, and I had to take turns charging devices with my fiancee. Overall what I expected for the price.

The frint desk girl was so sweet & helpful. The room was great, private patio that looks right out onto lake Michigan. Great stay, reasonable price. We ended up staying another night.

Overall staff was very friendly and helpful. The only breakfast offered is coffee and muffins, which we didn’t have access too because the lobby was closed at 7am. There were only three outlets working and the lights and alarm clock were non functioning. Only two overhead lights worked. No fan in the bathroom. The pocket door to the bathroom wouldn’t close all the way and the entrance door closed ok but had a slit in it so thank goodness it didn’t rain. Bring an extension cord if you have any medical needs. Most hotels have them next to the bed but not this one. There was no place to connect a medical pump and no place to charge a phone but the outlet for the hair dryer. Sorry I didn’t think to take pictures or video. We only stayed because it’s right next door to the Arnold ferry and you could walk there.

Don’t stay

Nasty hotel. Nasty floors, wall paper was coming off the walls. Still looks like 1970s. Needs upgraded. Only nice thing was the view. Tub wasn’t clean, half of all the moldings were gone.
