Mixed Review

We stayed 2 separate nights at this property. The first night was great. Nice room, very clean and comfortable. The second night was terrible! One of the worst experiences we’ve had while traveling. Room 109 is not well appointed. It is also possibly the noisiest room I’ve ever stayed in!!! Between the traffic noise going over the bridge, a water heater whining and groaning all night, people above us stomping around their room and then the stairs right outside the door. Non stop noise. Needless to say this is not the room you want if you want to sleep. I would stay here again but in a different room.

This is an old mote building, but the managers have made many upgrades, and it is in good repair. The pool and spa area was well kept, clean with no mildew. The room was spacious for a motel of this type. It was very clean, no old motel smells. I recommend.

The motel is a bit dated. I loved the shower head but the floor on the tub was dirty or stained. There was a used towel from a previous guest hanging on the back of the bathroom door. I just added it to my dirty towels. The only thing that would really keep me from staying here again would be the old terribly uncomfortable mattress. Popping spring and you could feel being drawn to the side everyone sleeps on. Sleep was difficult.

A great quaint little motel. Rooms are clean and the owners were very nice and accommodating. It’s not a fancy Hilton but neither is the price. 10/10 recommend. An added perk is if you are using Sheplers to go to the island they will pick you up in front of the motel at no cost.

Very clean and comfortable basic hotel room. Hot tub and pool were very nice. We really enjoyed staying here. Right across from the beach/mackinaw bridge and easy walking distance to a bunch of restaurants and shops. Would absolutely stay again.
