This was a great place to stay on the way to Mackinac Island. It was clean. The rooms are huge. We had balconies with chairs and a little table. The beach was a little untidy snd the hotel a little dated, but charming. Would stay there again.

I like how the rooms are set up. Great use of space. Right on the beach is a big plus. The bathroom vanity porcelin tiles are hanging and pulling away from the counter, the air vents look terrible snd dirty. It just a freshening up.

Okay room beautiful view

The view from our room was absolutely amazing — waking up to that scenery each morning was a highlight of our stay. The balcony was also a nice bonus, perfect for enjoying some quiet time or a cup of coffee. The room itself was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate our family of four, which we really appreciated. However, the room was definitely in need of updating. The furniture and decor felt quite dated, and unfortunately, there was a strong musty smell that lingered throughout our stay. It made the space feel less fresh and a bit uncomfortable at times. With some renovations and better ventilation, this could be a fantastic place to stay.

Room was not cleaned, towels not even replaced. Beach area is full of weeds. Building could use a good powerwash, and external doors were hard ro open & close. Bugs in our room ( gnats). We asked for someone to take care of it, but no one came. Room cleanliness upon arrival was good. Gentleman at front desk was very nice.

Read lots of mixed reviews before booking. We stayed as a family of 5, for 4 nights. We had a great time. Pool was average, food nearby, lakeside, beach had sand but was rocky in the water - kids didn’t care. We had no issues w our stay.

Fantastic stay! We stayed here 1 night on July 30th. Upon checking in the hotel looked very well taken care of, we checked in and were greeted by a gentleman that was extremely kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. He had amazing customer service and really started our stay off to a great start. My wife and I and our kids took advantage of there pool and hot tub. Both pool and hot tub were very clean and refreshing. Our room was clean and our balcony was fantastic. We will definitely stay here again when we’re in Mackinae city. Great place.

The only complaint I have was the carpet in our room felt a little damp when we checked in, but I'm not sure if thats because they had cleaned the carpets or if it was the humidity in the air since our AC wasnt on yet. Seemed to be fine the next day. We did also get a wake up knock at around 10am for towels which I didn't enjoy since it was our day to sleep in. But otherwise it was a great stay. Super quick walk to the main street and the ferry. And the beach was steps away from our patio/balcony. We also enjoyed having two separate sleeping areas as I am a light sleeper and my husband snores.

The room was very spacious, we had 3 bads and a sleeping sofa and pretty comfortable. Bathroom was just ok, it had a missing piece of countertop, carpet looked old.Balcony can be cleaner, the beach area looked pretty bad , needs a little help

Bed was comfortable & room and bathroom where clean. Staff was fantastic! Other guests were loud & disrespectful making the beach their own private family reunion for over 20 people right outside our balcony. Hotel really needed maintenance, in the rooms, outside & pool area.
