The property is old, and the rooms are in dire need of renovation. While the staff was friendly-ish, the cleanliness of the rooms and the service at the front desk were not good. I appreciated the 24/7 coffee, tea, and hot chocolate in the breakroom, but that again was another area in need of updates. I booked the hotel for the Mackinac Bridge Swim and hoped to bring my dog, but she did not meet the weight requirement, too large. Then I saw two dogs much larger than her going into a room. That was disappointing.

The property is older and very dated and in need of upgrade, especially for the rate we had to pay. The bed was clean and comfortable. No hot breakfast is definitely a downside.

Clean, comfortable bed, and meets a night of sleep. Make sure if you are going to be late, call. They were going to give my room away but they the employee said they had one available and gave at the price I booked it for. Appreciated I still head a room in the end. So lessoned learned.

Based on the reviews they made this hotel sound really nice, it was good for one night because it was cheaper, but pillows and sheets had stains on them, along with the comforter. Didn’t venture outside of our room really, but it’s older for sure. Positive side: great view of the bridge.

It was a place to sleep. Expect nothing more.

The check-in process was good and front desk attendant was friendly. The room had 3 beds, which was a pleasant surprise since I booked 2. However, the hotel's physical condition is...not good. Our window had a view of a hallway. An actual hallway outside our window. The bathroom door was in poor condition with a visible crack in it.

It was an awful experience. The room was not guest ready. -Several of the lights did not work. -I went to pull the blinds for the night and the string is all knotted up, so I closed the curtains and the curtains came off the rail. -The sink and counter are old, and dirty. There was a puddle of water on the counter when we entered, and one of the bath towels appeared someone had used it to dry their hands. -The caps of the heaters are all missing, showing the filth and dirt in them. -We could here doors opening and closing and the family next door talking. -Floorboards were missing in different areas. -Sheetrock was chipping off. -The hallway smelled for pot. This along with more I have not mentioned gave us a very unrestful sleep. I hope they are able to rectify all these problems so future guests will be excited to return.

We love this hotel. Get a bridge view room! Rooms are large and clean. Great location for a quick weekend to Mackinaw City and Mackinac Island. Perfect location near the water.
