Our room was spotless! Comfortable bed, good linens and more than enough towels. There was no highway noise which is remarkable given the property is adjacent to 35. Staff was friendly. Efficient check in - they were ready for us. Would stay again.

The pool and hot tub area is very nice! The price is very affordable. Otherwise, the rooms and hotel are older but clean. It is an average hotel that is run well.

The staff was wonderful. At one point I had ants on the floor and they came right in and picked them up and cleaned it and sprayed it with pet proof stuff. I had hoped to swim while leaving my little dog in her crate, but I was not allowed to do that. She couldn't even be in the crate if I sat next to her in the pool area so that was kind of disappointing. The breakfast was good and the staff was amazing. Really!

Lack of response/concern

There were kids running back and forth from one end of the hallway to the other. It was 9:45 and we had to get up at 4:00 am. I called the front desk and politely asked if she would quiet the kids. the desk clerk responded she did not know what room they were in so she couldn't do anything. I asked her to just go to the 2nd floor and ask where their parents were located. The running and screaming continued for another 20 minutes, stopped, and then briefly happened again at 10:40. We travel across country several times a year and this location has been our preferred stopping place in this area for almost 15 years. (We were there the Sunday before also.) I was really disappointed the clerk felt like she could not, or did not want to, do anything. This lack of concern may cause us to select a different lodging place the next time we pass through.

Good stop to Minneapolis

We were welcomed when we arrived. Nice older hotel. Bed comfort was good. Toilet is very low. Our room was clean. Breakfast was good. There is no elevator so you have to haul your suitcase up stairs. We would stay here again. The price was excellent.

Pretty decent

We always love staying here because of the friendly workers and cleanliness. This visit we were in a room with a very short toilet…not sure what that’s all about. We also had one front desk person that must not have had the greatest day. She was not happy when she had to recode our room card because our daughter with special needs accidentally touched it to her phone. Other than that, we love the lobby area where family and friends can come see us and all the other employees were amazing and friendly like we expect from Iowans!
